Well i thought i'd put this question in a quick summary, because i have a feeling i've missed out a few things in my evaluations - maybe.
So in my research i used technologies like web 2.0 alot, with the use of blogger and of youtube. Finding videos and analysing them then uploading them to my blog via the video button. I also did my digipak/magazine ad comparison on powerpoint and then converted the powerpoint into pdf images and uploaded them to blogger via the picture button. I did this just to brighten up the blog post a bit, rather than just having writing!
In the planning sections, i used windows movie maker to create a storyboard that would be a video itself in order to give us an idea of what the finished product would look like. I used paint to create a basic magazine advertisement. All the other work done by hand had to be scanned into the computer and then uploaded to blogger.
In order to get all of my created videos onto blogger i had to create a youtube account. When trying to upload my videos to youtube i found that the file size was too big and so had to convert it into a smaller one using a programme on the editing suite. Once the videos were uploaded (which still took a very long time!) i had to go onto blogger and click the video button but had to choose to upload things from my youtube channel rather than typing the name of the video i created into the basic youtube browser because it didn't come up!

Music Video Evaluation - Documentary

Evaluation
So for my evaluation i didn't want to just talk to a camera, I wanted to make it a bit more entertaining so me and my partner created a behind the scenes video - we used the same beginning (with the footage of us two together) and then edited the rest separatley with our own footage in.
Digipak Evaluation

Evaluation
Here is my digipak evaluation. Here i didn't use green screen, but instead, focused on the use of photoshop in my products, explaining with images what i did and how i did it.
Yet again i used a copyright free piece of music but in order to use it i had to place the name of the artist in the credits and so this is what is at the end of the video. As before, the song wasn't long enough so i had to merge two copies of it together to create one long song.
Also, at the end, you'll see a quick clip of my 'disturbence' during filming - so watch out for that!
I had to really experiment with typography in my digipak as often certain colours wouldn't be seen in the images so i tried to use colours for the typography which would be easy to see, however sometimes this meant using a range of colours in one image. If i did this task again i would definitely work more with the images in order to make the text colour work on the images.

Magazine Advert Evaluation

Evaluation
Here is my Magazine Advert Evaluation. I created this by using the green screen. I understand that it's not perfect but compared to my evaluation video last year (where the green screen had to be taken out because it was so bad!) it's effective.
I wanted to use the green screen so that i could attempt it again and try and make it work. Also i like the fact you can choose your background image. I personally think a green screen is a very effective way of presenting information.
I used copyright free music in the background, however the music didn't stretch across the whole evaluation so i took two copies of the song and merged them together to create something that would last throughout the video. I also added in a few quick outtakes at the end - i mean, they took up so much of my footage that i had to fit them in somewhere!
