Album cover ideas

After i came up with some names for the album i started drafting some front cover ideas.
For my first idea i took inspiration from the blur 'best of' album :

Instead of having cartoon-like

faces, i would have the actually faces of the band.
You can see my reasons for doing this style on the diagram below.

As you can see i wanted the faces of the band members so the audience can get to know what they look like - with it being a new band the audience might not know a lot about them.









My second idea was inspired by the Manic Street Preachers' National Treasures album cover.
Mine would be a woman will a guitar on her back walking down a deserted road, with the title of the album maybe on a sign post next to the road.

 

At the minute these are just ideas i've had but once i finalise an album name then i will do a big draft of my digipak.
