Behind the scenes of Music Videos

There is a behind the scenes look at the filming of the Amplification style video by The Vaccines called 'Nogaard'. It shows how the band plays a big role in the making of the film and how their ideas are looked at by the director and that the band often makes the final decision on what the film will be like. i will take this into consideration when filming my music video. I will make sure that the band it is for supports the ideas i am making because, after all, it is their song that i am being trusted with.

Here is a behind the scenes look at The Colplay 'Princess Of China' video. Although it's not talked about in detail, we can see that intertextuality is evident - portraying the music video like that of a kungfu themed movie. We can also see how excessively the green screen is used. Financially, this would be cheaper than actually going to the location with all the cast and crew.

here is the finished product, the green screen is used so effectively that it difficult to tell that it was used at all.
