Something Interesting - Skyfall Music Video

Whilst looking for inspiration for shots we could have in our music video, i came across the Skyfall official video and found it very interesting the way they've done it. I think it's meant to be in the category of a illustrative video but is a different style of video to other movie soundtrack videos.
Most movie soundtrack videos incorporate the artist performing with shots from the film like this one:

 

However Skyfall pretty much uses it's music video as another way of promoting the film, with the video just looking like a lengthy trailer for a film. This is highly against conventions of these types of videos as the only physical acknowledgement comes at the beginning of the video with her face appearing on the screen, and the main focus being on the shots taken from the film. The video even opens as if it's a film with the production companies coming up on the screen.
