Here's the image i started off with. I took it in the farmers field that is a short walk from my house.
I think when i edited the image at first i used saturation to make it look colder, but soon changed that when i started editting it on photoshop....

First Draft

Here is my first draft, when i first attempted the clouds idea. At the minute, as you can see they look nothing like clouds so i had to work on making that look more effective. Changed the saturation to make the colour brighter.

Second Draft

The first attempt at getting the title on the cover.
This was a bit too happy and cheerful for the mood of the album, so this didn't work very well. It looks a bit cheesey too to be honest!
HOWEVER - the clouds are looking much
better, aren't they?!

Third Draft

Asked my audience and the suggested that a basic title would be better, therefore i attempted this and felt that it looked a lot better.

 

Fourth Draft

More Basic font chosen.
Title repositioned.
Didn't like that there was nothing at the bottom of the image so put this photo reel in. Spoke to my audience and they really didn't like the look of it.
Adjuested brightness and contrast to make the colours stand out more.
A path of light has been drawn towards the sun.

FINAL DRAFT

Took my audiences advice and got rid of
the photo reel.
I think the photo reel took away the power
from the main image.
